A big drug bust by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has resulted in the arrest of a man from Morris.
Matthew McGaha, 32, is one of three men arrested after a four-month investigation into trafficking in heroin, methamphetamine and GHB.
Chief Deputy Randy Christian said in a statement that McGaha and two accomplices were involved in buying large amounts of meth from a dealer in Atlanta for resale locally. Investigators tracked the group down to a residence on Birmingport Road in Mulga, which they raided last Friday.
