The Gardendale Police Department is seeking information on an armed robbery that happened Wednesday night.

Two men entered Advance Auto Parts, located at 301 Fieldstown Road shortly before 9 p.m. according to police chief Mike Walker. The men were wearing Halloween masks and capes.

At least one suspect, identified as a black male, was armed with a revolver. The three employees who were in the store at the time were ordered onto the ground during the robbery.

Walker said at least three shots were fired in the store on several occasions, but no one was injured.

The suspects then fled the store on foot south on Grubbs Avenue with an undetermined amount of cash. Walker said it is believed the suspects had a car waiting in the parking lot of Gardendale First Baptist Church.

The police department is seeking any information from the public that would lead to the arrest of the suspects.

“We’d like to get them in the house pretty quick,” Walker said.
