Arthur Marvin Justice, age 80, of Warrior, passed from earthly to heavenly life at his residence on January 25, 2009 at 12:17 p.m. Mr. Justice was a longtime member and trustee of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired employee from Stevens Graphics, (formerly Progressive Farmer) Birmingham where he worked as a pressman for forty-plus years. Mr. Justice was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Willis Gilbert Justice, brother, Nathan Justice, and great-grandson, Benjamin Culpepper. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Doris Moody Justice, four children, Marilyn (Lewe) Sessions, Birmingham, Kenneth (Lynn) Justice, Greensboro, Denise (Steve) Tingle, Ringgold, Ga., and James (Cindy) Justice of Dora; nine grand-children, Patrick and Perry Sessions, Craig, Samuel and Kaitlyn Justice, Amy (Mathon) Tingle Culpepper, Alana (Dean) Tingle McKinney, Kelly (Chris) Justice South and Kimberly Justice; five great-grandchildren, Gage, Maddie, Kennedy, Thomas and Aubrie; two sisters, Inez Burns and Onez (Robert) Burns; a special niece Rita (Gary) Justice Campbell; and great-nephew, Robert (Jana) Campbell and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Justice will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Gardendale Funeral Home, burial will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Gardendale Funeral Home directing.
