Soccer
July 19, 26 The Gardendale Soccer Club will be holding fall registration at the Gardendale Soccer Complex (off Fieldstown Road). Registration is for ages 3 to adult is from 9 a.m. to noon on July 19 and 26. Contact information: 631-2323, 631-9165 or www.socceronline.org.

July 29 Snow Rogers Elementary School will have registration for all grades on July 29, 12-6 p.m.
Dinner and a Movie
Gardendale Friendship United Methodist Church will sponsor a dinner and a movie for the children every Friday night at 6 p.m. If you need assistance please call 285-9340.
Pageants
July 26 and 27 The 2009 Miss North Jefferson County Scholarship Pageant, an official Miss Alabama preliminary pageant, will be held July 27, 2008. The Outstanding Teen preliminary will also be held at this time. For forms go to www.missnorthjeffersoncounty.com or call 841-5818 for more information. The 2008 Fund Raiser Pageant will be held on July 26 at Fultondale Elementary School at 6 p.m. Ages 0-12 are eligible.

Free Child Care
There will be free child care in the Mt. Olive area for 3 and 4 year olds. The head start program is now enrolling for the summer. Regular full day childcare is offered. Call 608-1661.

Revival
July 20 New Hope Ministries will hold a revival on July 20 at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m. Rev. Kevin White will be preaching. The church is located at the end of Walker Chapel Road on Shady Grove Road. For more information call 849-7512.

July 20-24 Fultondale First Baptist Church will have Outrigger Island from 6-8:30 p.m. for children and adults. Luau kick-off party will be July 19 from 5-7 p.m. with free food, games and fire dancers. For more information call 849-0184.

Mother’s Day Out
Enon Baptist Church’s Mother Day Out program will offer childcare for 6 weeks to 4-years-old on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. We follow the Jefferson County School system calendar, so we are out during all of their breaks. For more information call 647-9614.

July 31 North Jefferson Middle School's registration is scheduled for July 31. Sixth grade is 9-11 a.m.; seventh grade is 1-3 p.m.; eighth grade is 5-7 p.m. Makeup day is Aug. 5, 4-7 p.m.

Reunion

VBS and Revival
July 12; 21-25 Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Hayden will have a vacation Bible school about God’s big back yard on July 12 from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be served. They will also hold a revival on July 21-25 at 7 p.m. with Bro. Tim Barnett. For more information call 647-1578.

Singing
June 29 Zola Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming 2008 on June 29. They will have dinner and singing with Sacred Harvest as the special singers after the 10 a.m. morning service.
