Corner group sells ornaments to raise money

Corner Theatre is selling Christmas ornaments and other memorabilia as a fund-raiser for the program.

The ornament is a brass replica of the historic school with the year 1922 — the year the school opened — engraved above it.

The ornament costs $15 and commemorates one of the oldest schools in the Jefferson County school system.

Also for sale by the department are framed pieces of fabric from the stage curtains at the Corner High School auditorium. Three sizes are available:

• 5 x 7 for $10

• 6 x 8 for $12.50

• 8 x 10 for $15

A third item for sale is the “Masterpieces From Our Kitchens” cookbook, which contains more than 200 recipes. The cookbook is $10.

To buy one of the items, go to the school or order online at www.cornertheater.org/store.
