Members of the Bragg Middle School Honor Club have designated their successors.

On Thursday, the club hosted an Honor Club tapping ceremony, where the eighth-grade members of the club inducted seventh-graders for next year’s Honor Club.

Criteria for becoming an Honor Club member is based on grades and good character, according to science teacher Joni Shankles.

She said that students must be on the A or A-B honor roll, and must have no discipline problems at school.

Shankles and other teachers helped Honor Club sponsor Rodney Ragland, a Bragg math teacher, coordinate Thursday’s ceremony.
