NORTH JEFFERSON — Mrs. Kay Barnett, 74, of Gardendale, passed away on December 25, 2012. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and Gramma, who never met a stranger, whether family, lifelong friend or someone she just met, she would always make you laugh. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Barnett.

She is survived by her children, Chris (Jackie) Barnett, Terri (Joel) Pope, Debbie (Tim) Nelson, Mark (Christine) Barnett, Alicia Click, grandchildren, Blake and Maggie Barnett, Jared and Jacob Nelson, Haley Barnett, Bobby (Kristie) Click and Katie Click.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, at noon at Crestview Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home. Burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
