NORTH JEFFERSON — Mr. John L. Belcher, 69, of Smokerise, Warrior, passed away November 16, 2012.  

He was a member of Gardendale Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder.  He is survived by his wife, Carmen Todd Belcher; daughter, Tara E. Kennedy (Adon); grandsons, Lance A. Kennedy (Shea) and Chad F. Kennedy (Tonya); great-grandchildren, Peyton and Kaylin Kennedy; brothers, Paul (Barbara), James (Charlotte), and Gilbert (Pat) Belcher, and many nieces and nephews.  

The funeral service was at Gardendale Funeral Home with burial in Haig-Rogers Family Cemetery.
