NORTH JEFFERSON —
Terry Marlin Bolden, 72, of Gardendale passed away March 17, 2013. He was a member of Pineywood Baptist Church and a graduate of Mortimer Jordan High School. He retired from NCR/AT&T after 40 years of service. He was an avid golfer at Castle Pines Golf Club. He loved gardening, Smith Lake and the beach and spending time with his grandkids.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Lathey and Elon Bolden, a brother, Calvin and a sister, Decima Jones.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Johnnie Myrex Bolden; daughters, Kim (Ed) Cason, Tammy (Jim) Price and Kelly (Mike) Rigdon; nine grandchildren, Haley, Tanner, and Drew Clayton, Alyson and Rebecca Cason, Bo and Hunter Price, and Seth and Nick Rigdon; brothers, Raymond (Joyce) and Dan (Betty) and sisters, EvaMae (Charles) Glaze, Joyce Hartsfield and Dina Sprouse and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a beloved husband, dad and Papaw to his woolies. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gardendale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Gardendale Funeral Home with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Gardendale Funeral Home Directing.
