Sara Frances Giambrone Parker, "My Nanny", age 72 of Fultondale, passed away on May 2, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Parker; great granddaughter, Hazel Hadley; parents, Tony and Gladys Giambrone; and her brother, Sammie Giambrone.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her daughter, Marie Dixon; grandchildren, Karmen Hadley (Matt) and Kristen Self (Zach); great grandchildren, Ava, Hollyn and Hew Hadley, and Amelia Self; brothers, Pete Giambrone (Peggy), Bubba Giambrone and Mike Giambrone (Patti); and a host of family and friends. Funeral Services were held on Friday May 4 at Walker Chapel Funeral Home in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens. Rev Rayford Davis officiated. Walker Chapel Funeral Home directed.
