NORTH JEFFERSON —
Mr. Carl F. Swann, of Arkadelphia, passed away on December 6, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sadie Ann Swann; daughter, Rebecca Ann Swann; infant son, Carl Dale Swann and his parents Adolphus and Rudy Swann.
Survivors include daughter, Dianne Burgett (Steve); grandson, Jeremy Burgett (Natalie); granddaughter Stephanie Reese (Colt); and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Lottie Fines (Nola)of Mt. Olive, Betty Fines Gardendale; and Joan Malpass, loving friend and companion.
He retired as an iron worker after 40 years of services. He was a member of Mount Olive First Baptist Church and a member of the McCarty/Farrah Masonic Lodge in Mt. Olive.
A visitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Gardendale Funeral Home, with the service following at 2:00 in the chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery. Brother Harce Swann and James Mason officiating.
