NORTH JEFFERSON — Ellowyne Ware Carlisle, age 79 of Mt. Olive, passed away on Thursday March 14, 2013.

She was a member of Gardendale Baptist Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles James Carlisle.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Willard Carlisle; daughters, Brenda (Ricky) Abbott of Bremen and Patti (Stan) Parker of Morris; sons, Michael (Wanda) and Robert (Phyllis) Carlisle of Mt. Olive, and Johnny (Leslie) Carlisle of Gardendale. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be on Monday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with Rev. Leon Greathouse officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
