Girls basketball: Hayden 56, No. 10 (4A) Locust Fork 49

LOCUST FORK — For Hayden junior center Katie Parr, it was a double-double — doubled.

Parr scored 25 points and pulled down 22 rebounds as the unbeaten Wildcats won their fourth game of the season, edging out Locust Fork 56-49 on Thursday night.

Grayson Taylor scored 13 points and handed out three assists; and Evin Bibb added six points and five steals.

Kasi McMillian had 11 points and 21 rebounds, and Kristen Cox added 11 points, nine rebounds and six steals. The Hornets (5-2), who are the 10th-ranked team in the ASWA Class 4A state rankings, comitted 20 turnovers and fouled out two starters in the fourth quarter.
