Two member's of the 2013 Fultondale Wildcats football team have been selected to play for the annual Alabama North-South All-Star Game.
Offensive linemen KaDarrius Lawrence and Ethan Pope were named to the North team, which was announced Thursday by Alvin Briggs, the director of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors and Coaches Association (AHSADCA).
Lawrence and Pope were stalwarts on a line which went with the Cats to the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
In addition, Locust Fork head coach Chris Musso has been named as an assistant coach for the North squad, under head coach Keith Etheredge from Leeds.
The game, which has been played since 1948, will be held during the All-Star Sports Week, July 21-25, in Montgomery.
