KIMBERLY — Mortimer Jordan baseball coach Shayne Carnes gave five different pitchers an inning to show their stuff Saturday, as the Blue Devils pounded visiting Center Point 16-6 in a game shortened to five innings by the mercy rule.

Wes Crawford was 3-for-3 at the plate with a pair of doubles and three runs batted in. Garrett Suchey was 2-for-2 with a triple, a double and a sacrifice fly with two RBIs, and Hayden Yeager was 3-for-4 and drove in two runs.

Starter Kyle Woods go the win, giving up one hit in the first inning.

Zakez Jones went the distance to take the loss for the Eagles; he also smacked a two-run triple.
