McCALLA — Collin Sutton tallied six strikeouts, and Ryan Thomas was 4-for-4 with three doubles as Tabernacle Christian blanked Flint Hill Christian 17-0 in five innings in the Torches' season opener Friday.
Thomas drove home three runs, as did Caleb Thompson, who went 3-for-4. Sutton was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Will Miller and John White each hit twice in three at-bats.
Tabernacle heads for Millbrook to play New Life Christian on Monday.
