Softball: Hayden 16, Minor 0 (3 innings)

HAYDEN — It was big-stick night for Hayden, as they blasted Minor 16-0 in three innings in softball action Thursday.

Katie Parr smashed two home runs and was 3-for-3 with seven runs batted in, and also pitched three scoreless innings for her first win of the season.

Taylor Hodo was 2-for-2 with a grand slam, Maleah Hargett was 3-for-3, and Lori Swann had two hits for the Wildcats.

Hayden heads to Hoover this weekend for the Spain Park Tournament.
