JeffCo Boys Basketball Tournament: Gardendale 65, McAdory 63

HUEYTOWN — Allen Williams' basket at the buzzer was the game-winner for Gardendale, as they defeated McAdory 65-63 in the large-school consolation bracket of the Jefferson County Basketball Tournament at Hueytown.

Williams got the ball after a Yellow Jackets turnover, drove downcourt and pulled up for the winning jumper.

Juan Jackson led the Rockets (11-13) with 21 points. Trey Evans added 15 points and eight rebounds, and Williams finished with 14 points.

Marcel Moorer led McAdory with 20 points. Anthony Tolbert and Zack Davis added 15 each.
