Boys basketball: Mortimer Jordan 69, St. Clair County 62

ODENVILLE — St. Clair County's boys basketball team may still be looking for its first victory of the season, but one couldn't tell by the way they played against visiting Mortimer Jordan Saturday night.

The Blue Devils improved to 15-1 on the season with a 69-62 victory over the Saints.

Forward Ben Hardiman led the way for Jordan with 17 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots. The effort came one night after Hardiman went over the 1,000 career points milestone in a win over Ragland.

Point guard Mark Louis had a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists, and Conner Moon added 12 points for the Devils.

Both teams face area contests on Tuesday. Joradn travels to Walker, while the Saints host 10th-ranked Locust Fork.
