Girls basketball: Locust Fork 64, Cleveland 31

CLEVELAND — Kasi McMillan and Kristen Cox scored 15 points each, as Locust Fork routed Cleveland 64-31 in Monday night girls basketball action.

The Hornets (4-1) were hot from beyond the 3-point line, hitting 10-of-24 (42 percent). Ashlyn Adkins was 3-for-5 from outside the arc on her way to an 11-point night, while Cox and Kimberly Horton each hot 2-of-4.

McMillan also grabbed eight rebounds for the Hornets.

Valencia Spann scored 13 points and Lenadra Glass added eight for the Panthers (1-2).

Locust Fork is off until after the Thanksgiving break. They travel to St. Clair County on Dec. 3.
