Girls basketball: Hayden 53, Good Hope 52

HAYDEN — Grayson Taylor scored 17 points and Sharley Miller added 13 as Hayden held on to edge Good Hope 53-52 in girls basketball action Tuesday night.

Miller hit both of her 3-point shot attempts, and went 7-for-9 at the free throw line.

Katie Parr grabbed 19 rebounds and scored eight points for the Wildcats (6-0), who came back from a one-point deficit at halftime in the closely-contested game.

Kayla Tillman led all scorers with 19 points for the Raiders (4-8); she was 5-of-6 from behind the 3-point arc, all of them in the first half. Kacy Thomas added nine points.
