The Gardendale Parks and Recreation Department is again this summer offering several tennis camps for players of all ages.
The first session is already underway this week, but additional sessions begin on June 11, June 25 and July 24. The June sessions meet each weekday except Wednesday, while the July camp runs Tuesday through Friday.
Daily session are 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Water and snacks are provided, but lunch is not.
The cost is $120 per session, with a $40 discount for those who attend a second session. There’s discounts for siblings as well.

Brooke Meadows hit a lead-off double, then scored the winning run when Meleah Hargett bunted her way on base as Hayden defeated Saraland 3-2 in 10 innings in the quarterfinal round of the AHSAA Class 5A state softball tournament.
