Girls basketball: Hayden 51, Curry 32

JASPER — It was another double-double night for center Katie Parr, as she led Hayden to a 51-32 win at Curry in a Class 5A area girls basketball contest Friday.

Parr scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the night. Grayson Taylor added eight points and nine assists for the Wildcats (12-5, 3-1 area).

Mary Beth Scott led the Yellow Jackets with 17 points, including three 3-point goals.

Hayden plays at Cleveland on Tuesday night.
