Girls basketball: Hayden 61, J.B. Pennington 46

HAYDEN — Junior center Katie Parr's hot start to the season keeps going, as she logs another double-double in Hayden's 61-46 win over J.B. Pennington in Friday night girls basketball.

Parr scored 18 points and hauled in 14 rebounds. It's her fourth game of the season with more that 10 points and 10 boards.

Grayson Taylor added 16 points, and Evin Bibb had eight points and four steals for the Wildcats, who extend their season-opening winning streak to five games.

Madison Casale and Peyton Dempsey scored 12 points each for Pennington (2-4).
