HANCEVILLE — At Wallace State, freshman guard Grayson Taylor led all scorers with 14 points, including three 3-point goals, as Hayden routed Hanceville 55-12 on Monday afternoon.

The Wildcats shut out the Bulldogs in the first quarter, and allowed just three points in the second as they rolled to a 36-3 halftime lead. The third quarter was cut to six minutes, and the fourth quarter was played with a running clock per the new 30-point mercy rule.

Eighth-grader Evin Bibb scored 10 points and Katie Parr added eight for the Wildcats (2-0).
