PINSON — Hunter Middleton had a hand in all four goals, scoring one and assisting on the other three, as seventh-ranked Pinson Valley wrapped up a Section 6 championship with a 4-0 shutout of visiting Moody in boys soccer action Monday.
Sam Shaw put the Indians on the score sheet just two minutes in, taking a pass from Middleton for the goal. Then Middleton himself put the ball in the net later in the first half to put Pinson up 2-0 at intermission.
Freshman forward Josh Almendarez had both second-half goals, with Middleton assisting on each.
Jaime Vargas had three saves in goal for the Indians (9-3-4).
