Boys basketball: Gardendale 63, Tarrant 25

TARRANT —

Gardendale held host Tarrant to just four points in the entire second half, as the Rockets steamrolled to a 63-25 mercy-rule victory in boys basketball action Thursday.

All 12 players in the Gardendale lineup scored, led by guard Allen Williams with 13 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Seth Alford, Juan Jackson and Trey Evans each added seven points, with Evans also pulling down 12 rebounds.

Devonte Williams led the Wildcats with nine points.

The Rockets travel to Oak Mountain on Friday, and close out the regular season on Monday as they host Pinson Valley.
