GARDENDALE — Tuscaloosa Christian pulled away in the fourth quarter of what had been a tight game to that point, defeating host Tabernacle Christian 60-48 in Friday boys basketball action.
Caleb Thompson scored a game-high 23 points for the Torches (10-8, 5-2 ACEAA). John White added nine points, and Shiver Winchester grabbed 14 rebounds.
Trent Gibson paced the Warriors with 22 points and Jordan Potter contributed 10 points.
