PINSON — Lauren Keplinger pitched a four-inning no-hitter, facing just 14 batters as her Pinson Valley softball team crushed Fultondale in a 15-0 run-rule game Monday.
Kepinger was just two walks away from a perfect game, as she struck out four Wildcats.
Shortstop Kaitlyn Crocker was 3-for-3 with a solo homer and four RBIs for the day. Jenna Trimm had a two-run single and drove home another run when she hit into an error. Tristen Griffeth's two-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning ended the game on the 15-run rule.
