CHS looks to redeem shutout

The Corner Yellow Jackets will take on the Speake Bobcats at home on Friday.

Corner (1-5) will be looking to redeem itself after a 34-0 shutout last week by the Haleyville Lions.

Haleyville’s early lead of 21-0 at halftime put the Yellow Jackets into a difficult position from which they never recovered.

On Friday, the Corner club will have to put its nose to the grindstone to defeat Speake, which has a 5-1 record.
