Johnson named All-South

Gardendale grad Krystal Johnson, now a sophomore catcher at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, has been named to the NFCA Division II All-Region and All-South softball first teams.

She was previously named to the All-Gulf South Conference team.

Johnson is currently hitting .399 with eight home runs, 13 doubles, 39 runs scored and 43 RBIs for the Lady Chargers.

Johnson has helped UAH fashion a 51-8 record. They were ranked the No. 1 Division II team in the nation earlier this spring.
