    The Corner Lady Yellow Jackets (37-14) and the Mortimer Jordan Lady Blue Devils (44-4) will host second round sub-state softball playoff series today.

  • Jordan grad Keedy named to POY list
    The College Baseball Foundation has announced that UAB senior first baseman Ryan Keedy has been selected to the 2008 Brooks Wallace Player of the Year Award Watch List. Keedy leads Conference USA in batting average (.410), on base percentage (.505) and doubles (21).

  • Johnson named All-South
    Gardendale grad Krystal Johnson, now a sophomore catcher at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, has been named to the NFCA Division II All-Region and All-South softball first teams.
