BIRMINGHAM — The Local Authors Expo will be at the Birmingham Public Library on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gardendale author J.D. Weeks will be sharing a table with his granddaughter, Beth Shelnutt. Both will be signing their books. Shelnutt has a new book of poems titled, “A Life Between Light and Darkness.” Weeks will have five of his books available. He will also sign any of his books previously purchased.
