FULTONDALE — The Fultondale City Council voted in Monday's regular session to renew a request to the Alabama Department of Transportation for the installation of traffic signals.
The council is asking for signals at Interstate 65 exit 267 at Walker Chapel Road, both northbound and southbound exit ramps.
The council also approved the installation of a street light at 617 Parkway.
Residents of Fultondale now have a shiny new library.
Residents of northern Jefferson and southern Blount counties have an opportunity to help those in Moore, Okla. who were devastated by Monday's EF-5 tornado.
