The North Jefferson News will be closed on Monday for Labor Day. Classified ad deadlines will be moved up to Tuesday at noon for Wednesday’s edition. Display ad deadlines will not be affected.

All garbage pick-up in the area will be one day behind schedule, including Advanced Disposal (Warrior, Trafford, Kimberly, Gardendale); Allied Waste (Brookside); and Veolia Environmental Services (Fultondale).
