MORRIS —
The Burkett Center for the Multi-Handicapped, in Morris, will host a benefit motorcycle ride Oct. 20.
Registration is 9-10 a.m. at Rider’s Harley Davidson in Trussville. Kickstands go up at 10:15 a.m. Free coffee and doughnuts will be given out during registration, compliments of Royal Cup Coffee, Fultondale Bakery and Donut Joe’s of Gardendale.
The cost is $20 per bike and $5 for each second rider. The price includes lunch.
The escorted ride will go from Rider’s Harley Davidson to the Burkett Center, where lunch will be provided for riders with a lunch ticket. Door prizes will be given during the event.
Children from the center will be present to view the motorcycles, and the center will be open to visitors who would like to tour the facility.
The ride is sponsored by the Burkett Center PTA, assisted by C.H.R.O.M.E. Cross Cruisers.
