FULTONDALE — Police are investigating a break-in late Friday night and into early Saturday morning at Fultondale High School.

Principal Dr. Stephanie Robinson said that the break-in occurred at around 10:30 p.m., according to surveillance videos. The intruder took very little of value that can be determined, but ransacked Robinson's office.

The intruder also broke into several other classrooms on the lower floor, and in the technical arts building next door, Robinson said. "He apparently was on the campus for some time, "which concerns me because we had students coming back from basketball games and wrestling about that time," she added.

The suspect is male, approximately five feet, seven inches tall with a slim build, weighing somewhere around 130 pounds. He was wearing a hooded jacket, a mask and gloves, so little is known about his race or complexion.

Anyone with information about this break-in can call the Fultondale Police Department at 849-5456.
