Fultondale, Gardendale to host candidate forums

NORTH JEFFERSON — Gardendale and Fultondale will both be hosting events where the public can meet candidates for local offices.

On Aug. 13, the Greater Gardendale Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum at the Gardendale Civic Center Exhibition Hall.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Welcome and prayer is at 6 p.m.

After that, each candidate will have 5-7 minutes to speak to the crowd.

Each candidate will have a table set up where the public can meet and talk with them from 7:45 to 9 p.m.

Fultondale’s event is Aug. 21, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Hampton Inn in Fultondale. The Fultondale Chamber of Commerce is hosting the forum.

All candidates will have five minutes to speak, after which chamber officials will open the floor for questions.
