BLOUNT COUNTY — Alabama State Troopers have found the body of a Blountsville girl who went missing on Wednesday.
The body of 19-year-old Allysa Hufstutler was found by a State Trooper helicopter search team Friday morning. Blount Count EMA reports that her body was found in the Locust Fork of the Warrior River, about a mile from where she disappeared.
Hufstutler, a student at the University of Alabama, ran into trouble while she and her friends were riding inner tubes on the river Wednesday. The rest of the party made it safely to the river's banks.
