Fultondale to have only one polling site for Aug. 28 elections

FULTONDALE — On Aug. 28, all Fultondale voters will cast their ballots at the senior center at Black Creek Park.

Normally there are two polling places in Fultondale: The senior center and city hall.

The city is sometimes required to host two polling places because Fultondale is represented by two members of the house of representatives: Each gets his or her own polling site.

Mayor Jim Lowery said that since the house members are not up for election this year, the city will have just one polling place for the Aug. 28 elections.
