NORTH JEFFERSON —
Happy wet Monday!
Weather: At long last, north Jefferson is receiving some heavy rain this morning, along with lightning and strong wind. Expect more of the same this afternoon. Highs today will approach 100 degrees.
Traffic: Nothing out of the ordinary today, just watch out for slippery roads.
Looking forward: Citizens in and around Hayden are forming the West Blount County of Commerce. Almost 60 people have already joined the organization as charter members. The chamber will help advance the community and businesses.
Supreme Court decision: North Jefferson residents, business owners have their say about the high court upholding “Obamacare.” Keep an eye on www.njeffersonnews.com and on the NJN's Facebook page.
