FULTONDALE —
The city of Fultondale on Monday rescinded a business license for Widowmakers MC Inc., a motorcycle club that was meeting in the city.
The city council approved a business license for the club in September, which was occupying a vacant store at 1829 Carson Road North. A September story in the North Jefferson News said the club “caters to married couples and isn’t into alcohol.”
“The reason we wrote the letter was because of information we received from the police department,” said city inspector Ed Hawkins, whose department issues business licenses.
He declined to go into detail about the information he received from the police department, and the police department did not immediately return a telephone call seeking information.
