NORTH JEFFERSON —
A Hayden man was killed in a traffic accident Tuesday in Cleveland, Blount County, and two others were injured, according to the Alabama Department of Public Safety.
Eddie Terrell Dutton, 53, was driving a 2001 Dodge Neon when he was killed in the accident on Alabama Hwy. 79, which occurred at about 9:30 p.m. He was taken to Cleveland Funeral Home from the scene.
Clay Fountain, 20, of Oneonta was driving a 2007 Dodge Charger. He and his passenger, Logan Self, 18, of Oneonta, were both injured and transported to UAB Hospital.
The accident is under investigation by state troopers.
