For the first time in its long history, the town of Morris now has a dentist’s office.
Wilson Family Dentistry opened on Jan 20 but will have a grand opening on May 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sole dentist, Amy Wilson and her staff, hygienists Amanda Ballard and Nikki McWater, will have a barbecue cookout and a moon walk for children on that day to celebrate.
Before its opening in January, Morris had never had a business for dental services.
“It was just a great opportunity to come home and take care of all the people where I grew up,” said Wilson, a Morris resident.
The new building has two rooms for patients, with updated technology that includes chairs with heating and massaging functions, as well as mounted television sets in which patients will easily be able to see X-ray images.
Wilson Family Dentistry is located on 8318 Stouts Road, by the town hall and across from the walking park.
