Storms entering north Jefferson, Blount

A line of thunderstorms is moving into the north Jefferson County area as well as Blount County, but at this time nothing severe is reported.

The National Weather Service did issue a severe thunderstorm warning for Cullman and Winston Counties earlier because of possible damaging winds, but those warnings have expired.

Thunderstorms are expected to persist into Tuesday evening, according to the NWS.
