Thursday morning update

NORTH JEFFERSON — You've made it to Thursday.

Weather: Looks like we are in for some isolated thunderstorms this morning, then cloudy skies this afternoon with a high of 73. There is still a 30 percent chance of rain today. Tonight showers and thunderstorms are likely with a low of 61. There is a 80 percent chance of rain in tonights forecast.

Gardendale Parade is still on Gardendale officials met last night around 8 p.m. and decided to continue on with the originially scheduled parade tonight. The 80 percent chance of rain will not stop the festive event that takes place the first Thursday of every December.
