Second victim in Saturday crash identified

The identity of a teenage girl killed in a car crash in Kimberly early Saturday morning has been released.

Kristy Leigh Laney, 16, of Warrior was one of two passengers killed when a 2004 Pontiac GTO crashed on Morris Majestic Road at about 2 a.m.

Laney's name was not released by Alabama State Troopers because she was a juvenile.

Joseph Hall, 19, of Trafford also died in the crash.

The car was driven by Jordan Carden, 19, of Morris who was critically injured. Another passenger was also injured; that passenger was not identified because of age.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation
