NORTH JEFFERSON — Good Tuesday morning to you.

Weather: Welcome to another warm June day. Today’s high is 88 degrees and the low is 70. Much of the day will be partly cloudy, with a 10 percent chance of rain.

Crime: Police have made an arrest in the Saturday robbery of Little Caesar’s Pizza in Gardendale. Curtis Lee Pritchett, 24, of Birmingham, is charged with three counts of robbery first degree. The charges are for individuals in the store who were robbed. “You can’t rob an entity who is not a human being,” Gardendale Police Chief Mike Walker told the Gardendale City Council on Monday night. Police are still searching for suspects in the robbery of Dollar General on Fieldstown Road on Saturday and for the robbery of Papa John’s Pizza on Decatur Highway on Memorial Day.

This weekend: The Black Creek Arts Festival is Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Black Creek Park in Fultondale. Look for live music all day, a juried art show, activities for children, food for sale and more.
