An elderly couple missing from Georgia has been found safe in Alabama.
(AP) Police in Floyd County, Ga., said 90-year old Virgil Haney and 83-year-old Marie Haney left Rome, Ga., Saturday morning to go to Dawsonville. Georgia authorities issued a statewide alert when family members couldn't locate them late Saturday night.
Police told WAGA-TV that Marie Haney was found Sunday in Cullman and Virgil Haney was found Monday morning in Warrior. No other details were released.
