FULTONDALE — The city of Fultondale is giving a tax break early next year for cold-weather items.
On Tuesday, the city council approved the 2014 Severe Weather Preparedness tax holiday. It is in effect Feb. 21-23.
In other business, the council:
- authorized Mayor Jim Lowery to enter into a renewal agreement with the Municipal Workers Compensation Fund for 2014
- approved a business license for Baza Services LLC, a janitorial service, as applied for by Victor Borja, at 618 Decatur Highway, No. 101
The next regular city council meeting is Nov. 25, 11:30 a.m., at Fultondale City Hall.
